Specific Objectives for the Pre-School  

At the end of the two-year Pre-school program, the Pre-school pupils are expected to:

  1. develop gross and fine motor coordination through play and manipulative activities;
  2. develop basic skills of independent movement and positive attitudes in comprehend and interpret reading materials suited to their grade levels as well as expand their reading interests;
  3. acquire facility in oral expression and basic readiness skills of listening,pre-reading and writing;
  4. develop numeracy skills of classifying and separating objects according to size, color and shape;
  5. demonstrate increased interest and appreciation themselves as individuals capable of manifesting desirable attitudes, values and sense of nationhood;
  6. acquire sense of awe and wonder in the goodness of God as Loving Father and Creator and develop openness to the teachings and practices of the Catholic Church.
